Hand Painted Bone Jewelry Priced at $11.99 each
A unique and very attractive item. The bone jewelry is hand painted by Melaleuca Malie; he is a descendant of the Kamilaroi People. The jewelry is hand crafted of recycled bone; they call it campfire bone. (Whatever they had for dinner the night before and the dogs don't get) It could be anything from kangaroo to water buffalo. There are 7 different shapes: round, round with hole in middle, rectangle, cross section, cylinder, boomerang, and crocodile tooth. The round shape comes as a pendant or a bracelet. The cylinder shape represents the didgeridoo. The paintings of animals represent the various tribal or clan totems. The paintings of people show different aspects of aboriginal life.
